The United Press Center of the Courts of the Kemerovo Region reported via Telegram that a Russian national was arrested for drunken hooliganism on a Red Wings flight. ^[1] The incident occurred on September 1 on a Red Wings flight departing from Novokuznetsk. ^[2] The passenger was brought to court and admitted to his guilt. ^[3] The passenger, identified as Citizen P., swore in the presence of other passengers and acted provocatively before causing a drunken disturbance. ^[4] In December of the previous year, the upgraded Tu-214 received approval for a major change to its type design after imported equipment, materials, and components were replaced with Russian-made equivalents. ^[5] Red Wings and Yakutia Airlines are among the operators that would like to use the Tu-214 aircraft. ^[6] Russian Deputy Industry and Trade Minister Gennady Abramenkov told TASS on September 4 that potential customers beyond Red Wings and Yakutia Airlines are discussing the purchase of Tu-214 aircraft. ^[7] Russian Industry and Trade Minister Anton Alikhanov stated that the approval of the change to the Tu-214 type design paves the way for full-scale serial production of the aircraft. ^[8]
