Mexico City's Secretariat of Citizen Security reported 2 October will host two marches, 31 gatherings, three motorcycle rides and 18 large entertainment events.[^1]

Members of the Comité del 68 led the commemorative march for the 58th anniversary of the Tlatelolco massacre on the day.[^2]

Iron Maiden will perform at Estadio GNP Seguros that same night on the Run For Your Lives World Tour.[^3]

This appears to be an unusual concentration of large public events for a single weekday in the capital.
