Residents at Katoonah Lodges in Missoula, Montana, reported that lot rents increased by 35% over two years after Texas-based Axia Realty Partners purchased the property. ^[1] PACS Group announced the acquisition of operations at 32 skilled nursing facilities in Florida, leased from subsidiaries of Omega Healthcare Investors. ^[2] Residents reported that 68% of the park formed a supermajority to create the Katoonah Lodges Tenants Union. ^[3] Residents stated that homes in the Katoonah Lodges community, where they own the home but rent the land, have been sitting unsold for nearly a year. ^[4] The Katoonah Lodges Tenants Union sent a certified demand letter to Axia Realty Partners calling for a standardized five-year lease and lot rent set at $650 a month. ^[5] All closings bring PACS Group's portfolio to 355 buildings and expand its reach to New Mexico, North Dakota, and South Dakota. ^[6] PACS Group closed on 11 Eduro Healthcare facilities, on top of 20 closed last month, completing 31 of 34 acquisitions comprising 3,633 beds. ^[7] The 32 Florida properties have a combined 4,049 licensed skilled nursing beds. ^[8]
