Jonathan Samuel Melendez Ochoa, known as 'Honas', a 38-year-old keyboardist and founding member of the Mexican band Camilo Séptimo, was found dead inside an apartment in Bosques Esmeralda, Atizapán de Zaragoza, State of Mexico. ^[1] Melendez was found dead alongside his 35-year-old pregnant wife, their three-year-old daughter, and a 21-year-old woman. ^[2] Omar García Harfuch, the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, stated that one of the suspects detained in the multihomicide in Atizapán de Zaragoza was a partner of the musician Jonathan Meléndez. ^[3] The attack resulted in the deaths of four people: Jonathan Meléndez, a keyboardist and producer for the band Camilo Séptimo; his 35-year-old pregnant wife; their 3-year-old daughter; and a 21-year-old woman. ^[4] Two men, identified as Diego Sebastián 'N' and Gerardo 'N', were detained in a joint operation by authorities from the State of Mexico and Mexico City. ^[5] Diego Sebastián 'N', a business partner of Meléndez, and another man identified as Gerardo 'N' were arrested as suspects in the multiple homicide. ^[6] Jonathan Meléndez, a 38-year-old keyboardist, composer, and producer for the band Camilo Séptimo, was found dead in his residence in Atizapán de Zaragoza, Estado de México, on Tuesday night. ^[7] A six-year-old boy was found alive and unharmed in the same apartment, and a family dog was found tied up. ^[8] The Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado de México reported the arrest of two men, including Diego Sebastián 'N', a business partner of Melendez, for probable participation in the multi-homicide. ^[9] The suspect allegedly used the relationship of trust with the victim to gain entry into the residence where the crime took place. ^[10] Mexican officials stated that the investigation suggests one of the detained suspects exploited a relationship of trust with the family to gain entry to the home. ^[11]
