El Universal reported that producer Luis de Llano was detained around 18:13 in Mexico City for contempt of court. ^[1] Television producer Luis de Llano was released from the San Fernando Administrative Sanctions and Social Integration Center in Mexico City after serving a short detention. ^[2] On June 25, 2025, the First Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation unanimously rejected Luis de Llano's plea for protection, upholding the civil sentence and establishing a precedent that there is no statute of limitations for claiming damages for child sexual abuse. ^[3] The arrest was executed by the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Mexico City based on two arrest orders issued by a judge of the Superior Court of Justice. ^[4] The reclusion was the result of two 15-hour arrest orders issued by a judge of the Superior Court of Justice of Mexico City for repeated contempt of court. ^[5] The Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation ruled unanimously in June 2025 that the civil liability for the sexual abuse of a minor is imprescriptible. ^[6]
