Puerto Rico Police reported an armed carjacking at approximately 1:48 a.m. at playa Azul (Blue Beach) in Luquillo, Puerto Rico, in which a man was attacked and injured in the face. ^[1] Around 1:48 a.m. on the reported Tuesday, three armed individuals committed a carjacking in Playa Azul, Luquillo, approaching a parked victim, announcing the robbery, striking him in the face, and choking him until he lost consciousness. ^[2] A man was the victim of a violent carjacking near Playa Azul in Luquillo during the early hours of Wednesday morning. ^[3] Three armed suspects carjacked a vehicle in Luquillo, Puerto Rico, leaving the victim unconscious after a violent physical assault. ^[4] The man stated he was parked when three individuals approached him, and the assailants used guns and threats to make a robbery. ^[5] The police report states that the male was robbed on a gray 2008 Acura MDX with license plate HGN-611 and a leather wallet that contained $300 in cash and personal documents. ^[6] The victim alleged that the attackers, after declaring the robbery, struck him in the face and choked him by the throat until he lost consciousness. ^[7] The assailants stole a gray 2008 Acura MDX with license plate HGN-611, as well as a waist wallet containing $300 in cash and the victim's personal documents. ^[8] According to police, the incident occurred at approximately 1:48 a.m. when three armed individuals approached the victim. ^[9] The suspects fled in a 2008 gray Acura MDX with license plate HGN-611, which belonged to the victim. ^[10] Paramedics who responded to the scene provided medical assistance on-site, but the victim refused to be transported to a hospital. ^[11] The Robbery Division of the Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) of Fajardo is investigating the carjacking incident. ^[12]
