U.S. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins unveiled USDA's Data Modernization Plan at the Farm Progress Show, saying it aims to provide farmers with better and more useful information. ^[1] Ag Growth International (AGI) will unveil three new products at the 2026 Farm Progress Show held from September 1-3 in Boone, Iowa. ^[2] Rollins said the plan will enhance acreage and yield estimation, and that USDA will conduct a pilot to evaluate improved satellite imagery, working with NASA and other federal agencies to make reporting more accurate. ^[3] Rollins said USDA will expand use of administrative data and improve mobile access as part of the plan. ^[4] Rollins said USDA will update its tech infrastructure to reduce duplication, expand secured data sharing capabilities, and evaluate the responsible use of artificial intelligence and machine learning tools. ^[5] AGI President and CEO Paul Brisebois stated that the new products demonstrate the company's commitment to safer, smarter, and more efficient farm operations. ^[6] The 2027 LCX4 15108 is the world's first mechanically driven swing conveyor powered directly by a tractor PTO. ^[7] The PTO-driven LCX4 design allows operators to move up to 9,000 bushels per hour using as little as a 60-horsepower tractor. ^[8]
