The National Police of Cali dismantled three criminal organizations dedicated to micro-trafficking in the 11th, 12th, and 15th comunas on September 1, 2026. ^[1] The Colombian National Police executed 26 search warrants in the comunas 11, 12, and 15 of Cali, resulting in the capture of 26 suspects. ^[2] During the operation, authorities seized 3,000 doses of drugs ready for sale, five firearms, and various elements for drug fractionation, while arresting 26 individuals with over 80 judicial annotations. ^[3] General Herbert Benavídez, commander of the Metropolitan Police of Cali, stated that the groups were infiltrated by undercover agents over several months. ^[4] The three organizations were named 'Los Pelaos', 'La Primavera', and 'Los de la Invasión', operating in the Ciudad Córdoba, Morichal de Comfandi, La Primavera, El Rodeo, El Vallado, and Haití Invasión neighborhoods. ^[5] Alias 'Maritza', a 53-year-old woman with prior theft and drug trafficking records, was the leader of the 'La Primavera' structure. ^[6] Police seized 3,000 doses of marijuana and cocaine derivatives, five firearms, and other elements during the operations. ^[7] The three structures were responsible for distributing approximately 50,000 doses of drugs monthly in sectors including Ciudad Córdoba, Morichal de Comfandi, and the Haití invasion. ^[8]
