Orr Miller asserted that young Vincentians possess the undeniable capacity to steer their nation's future but urgently require dedicated structural platforms to effectively execute their work. ^[1] Orr Miller, a 26-year-old researcher and political science graduate from the University of the West Indies Global Campus, spoke as a featured speaker at the 'Youth Take Wing, Taiwan Soars' Youth Diplomacy Forum on August 29, 2026. ^[2] The Ministry of Justice in Sint Maarten announced the re-launch of the Positive Parenting Support Program (PPSP) through a one-year Bridging Project coordinated by the Judicial and Institutional Services Foundation (J&IS) running from August 2026 through July 31, 2027. ^[3] The collaborative exchange at the forum focused on youth diplomacy, cross-cultural understanding, and strategies for incorporating young perspectives into national sustainable development. ^[4] The forum served as a bilateral interactive assembly where a visiting delegation of Taiwanese youth ambassadors joined local Vincentian youth leaders for structural discussions. ^[5] The Positive Parenting Support Program was developed in 2022 and officially launched in 2024 with support from UNICEF Netherlands, designed specifically for Sint Maarten following local research and consultation. ^[6] The program provides practical tools for parents, caregivers, and professionals to strengthen communication, manage behavior, and guide children without violence or humiliation. ^[7] The re-launch reflects a shared commitment across the Ministries of Justice, Education Culture Youth and Sport, and Public Health Social Development and Labor to strengthen families and protect children. ^[8]
