Judge Fernando J. Chalas González of the First Instance Court in San Juan archived a peace disturbance charge against Jonathan Rosario Ortiz, known as 'Gallo The Producer', on September 1, 2026. ^[1] Jonathan Rosario Ortiz, known as 'Gallo The Producer', apologized to municipal police officer Jafet A. Ocaña for his behavior, prompting the Public Ministry to request the case be archived. ^[2] Municipal police officer Jafet A. Ocaña filed a complaint for intimidation against Ortiz after an incident on July 12, 2026, at the intersection of Rufino and Del Cristo streets in Viejo San Juan. ^[3] The Department of Justice said that the municipal police officer requested a public apology from Rosario Ortiz to withdraw the complaint, Ortiz offered it, and the Public Ministry then asked the judge to archive the case. ^[4] The San Juan Municipal Police reported that on July 12, at the intersection of Rufino and Del Cristo streets, Rosario Ortiz got out of his white Toyota Tacoma, insisted on passing through a prohibited area despite warnings, then insulted the officer with profanity and threatened to attack him if they met elsewhere. ^[5] According to the complaint, Ortiz exited his white Toyota Tacoma truck, insulted Officer Ocaña, shouted threats, and challenged the officer to a physical fight. ^[6] San Juan Municipal Police Commissioner Juan Jackson Rodríguez said in July that once sufficient evidence was gathered, the San Juan Prosecutor's Office would file lesser charges against Rosario Ortiz. ^[7]
