A collision between a SITP bus and a bicitaxi in the Bellavista neighborhood of Bogota killed two people and left one person seriously injured. ^[1] One occupant of the bicitaxi died at the scene, and the other occupant was critically injured and later confirmed dead after being taken to a hospital. ^[2] A violent traffic accident occurred on the night of September 1 in the Bellavista neighborhood of Kennedy, Bogota, involving a SITP bus and a bicitaxi. ^[3] Two people traveling in the bicitaxi were killed in the collision; one died at the scene and the other died at a hospital after being transported there. ^[4] María del Consuelo Castiblanco de Forero, an elderly woman residing in Barranquilla, was robbed of 70 million pesos in Bogotá on August 11. ^[5] The thieves transferred the victim to Banco Agrario, where they successfully withdrew 10 million pesos and later 60 million pesos from her savings account. ^[6] Security camera footage captured the incident, showing the bicitaxi crossing the intersection while ignoring a stop sign. ^[7] One of the two victims died at the scene due to the severity of their injuries, while the second victim was transported to a medical center where they subsequently died. ^[8] Traffic authorities are reviewing security camera footage to determine the cause of the accident and the circumstances preceding the collision. ^[9] Authorities have not yet released the identities of the deceased individuals. ^[10]
