The capital security secretariat (SSC) confirmed the arrest of producer Luis de Llano for contempt of a Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) ruling in the Sasha Sokol case. ^[1] Luis de Llano was arrested on September 2 in Mexico City for failing to comply with court orders in a civil lawsuit involving singer Sasha Sokol. ^[2] Television producer Luis de Llano was released from the 'San Fernando' Administrative Sanctions and Social Integration Center in Mexico City after nearly 24 hours of detention. ^[3] The legal team of singer Sasha Sokol stated that Luis de Llano was detained for failing to comply with a final sentence requiring him to issue a public apology to the singer and publish the court summary confirming his liability for moral damages. ^[4] The SSC transferred Luis de Llano to the San Fernando Administrative Sanctions and Social Integration Center to serve a 15-hour arrest order issued by a Superior Court of Justice judge. ^[5] Luis de Llano was subjected to two administrative arrest measures of 15 hours each, totaling 30 hours, but was released before completing the full period. ^[6] De Llano's lawyer declared the arrest illegal and arbitrary, citing improper suspensions of legal protection (amparo) and improper conduct by authorities. ^[7] Luis de Llano lost a civil case against Sasha Sokol, which led to the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) issuing a resolution regarding the process. ^[8] Luis de Llano was detained for two 15-hour coercive measures totaling 30 hours for failing to present a public apology to Sasha Sokol and publish a summary of a civil court ruling. ^[9] The legal team of Sasha Sokol warned that continued failure to comply with the sentence and systematic defiance of judicial orders could constitute a crime punishable by up to five years in prison. ^[10]
