A judge in Mexico City decided on 2026-08-28 to formally link Aidé 'N' to trial for the crime of simulated kidnapping, imposing preventive prison and setting a two-month deadline for the closure of the complementary investigation. ^[1] Authorities have not publicly identified or issued an arrest warrant for the intellectual author who ordered the assassination. ^[2] Miguel Ángel de la Mora Larios, known as Micky Hair, was assassinated at gunpoint on September 29, 2025, in the Polanco neighborhood of Mexico City. ^[3] Ángel Jorel "N" and Kevin Anthony "N" were detained in April 2026 and linked to the process as the presumed material authors of the homicide. ^[4] The Fiscalía General de Justicia de la Ciudad de México (FGJCDMX) stated on 2026-04-12 that the possibility of reclassifying the crime of Paola Buenrostro's death as feminicide in later stages of the process remains open. ^[5] A second man, per the FGJCDMX, used the father's phone to call the young woman, made her believe her father had been kidnapped, and demanded 100,000 pesos in exchange for not harming him. ^[6] According to the FGJCDMX, the scheme began when a man called the father of a family, made him believe his daughter had been kidnapped, threatened him, and forced him to leave home, buy another phone, and stay incommunicado in various hotels. ^[7] The Fiscalía General de Justicia de la Ciudad de México (FGJCDMX) investigation established that Aidé 'N' was the sole account holder and authorized person for movements on the bank account that received the 89,000 pesos paid by the family, and that she reportedly immediately disposed of the funds to give them to another person. ^[8] Investigations indicate that Ángel Jorel "N" and Kevin Anthony "N" received 80,000 pesos to execute the murder of Miguel de la Mora. ^[9] Arturo 'N', the suspect in the death of Paola Buenrostro, was detained on 2026-04-12 in the El Tráfico neighborhood of Nicolás Romero, Estado de México, after being at large since 2016. ^[10] The initial arrest warrant against Arturo 'N' was issued on 2016-10-19 for homicide because the legal category of transfeminicide did not exist in the Código Penal de la Ciudad de México at the time of the crime in September 2016. ^[11] The FGJCDMX announced that it will strengthen the investigation in subsequent stages to provide elements for a judge to consider the reclassification of the crime. ^[12]
