Oracle Simphony, a point-of-sale platform designed for the hospitality industry, has integrated with Redeban to process orders and payments through any Redeban terminal. ^[1] At the 2026 Asobancaria Banking Convention, Oracle reaffirmed its commitment to the Colombian banking sector by proposing a shift towards integrated, intelligent, and real-time banking operations. ^[2] Redeban is the only certified partner of Oracle Payment Interface that enables this specific function of processing orders and payments through its terminals. ^[3] The integration allows Redeban terminals to process both order intake and payment transactions for restaurants and food establishments. ^[4] According to the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia, total assets of the Colombian financial system reached $3.545 trillion in 2025, equivalent to 191% of GDP, with a real annual growth of 4.8%. ^[5] Germán Borromei, president of Oracle Colombia and Ecuador, stated that the next transformation of banking is to connect the business by integrating data and artificial intelligence so that risk, profitability, payments, fraud, liquidity, and customer experience function as a single system. ^[6] Oracle presented four scenarios for banking transformation: operating and deciding in real-time using Oracle Banking Cloud Services (OBCS), converting intelligence into profitability via AI, protecting trust with real-time fraud detection, and preparing for new forms of moving value like tokenization. ^[7] Oracle Simphony allows managing multiple establishments from a single platform, handling orders, menus, pricing, promotions, inventory, and real-time performance analysis. ^[8]
